Shock.
I cried when I saw the video of the attacks. I could smell the
smoke from the blast in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn; and it was
sickening. Worried about friends who travel thru the WTC area. I don't understand the politics of terrorism. I really don't get this. I lost track of the bean counting years ago. But it really sucks.
Having been in New York for a year, I have been in love with it from day one. I remember the pride I had when I told my brother Mike in Raleigh that I was an offical citizen of this city; and had voted in elections here. It must have seem odd to him, but not to me! Maybe as a way dealing with this, I figured I would post my thoughts and images of the WTC for family and friends. |
