A Year Since 9/11:
It has been a year since I first put up my personal tribute to the World Trade Center. The pictures on the site
were taken on a trip on the Staten Island Ferry, and a walk through Battery Park on August 8, 2001. I was in the progress
of recreating my personal web site, which was going to have a pictorial tour of New York City for friends and family back home in Virginia.
I had watched some episodes of Ric Burn's series on New York; and was doing research on the more famous landmarks in the city. In fact the week of the attacks:
I had planned on doing research at the New York Public library on the World Trade Center.
I have been touched and amazed at the response I have had to the original site. I can't thank you enough for sending me letters.
I hope you enjoy the revamping of this site; and I will archive the original site one in the in the next few days.
